Every morning since she was born, I’ve always brought Kylie into bed with me to cuddle before she got too riled up. Up until today…that all worked fine. This morning, however, was different…no more morning cuddles. As I was cuddling with her this morning she fell back asleep, which resulted in me falling back asleep too. That was a mistake. As I was starting to become coherent I thought Kylie was next to me. Quite the contrary…somehow while I was floating around in dreamland, she had woken up, crawled off the bed without hurting herself…and was playing on the floor at the foot of the bed…how she did that, I don’t know…but it was definitely a scare. So for now on…as much as I love cuddling with my baby girl…I don’t think that it will be happening any longer.
